It’s a thrilling day at Signal. The company was honored for the second consecutive year on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the nation!
Inc. Magazine’s prestigious 2016 list ranked Signal as the #31 fastest-growing software company in the U.S., and #379 overall. Over the last three years, Signal’s revenue soared by a total of 1,008%. The average growth rate of the highly successful companies on this year’s list was 433%, and Signal grew at more than twice that rate, which is a remarkable accomplishment.
Sustaining a high growth rate year after year is a feat that few companies can accomplish. Signal is proud to be one of the handful of advertising and marketing technology companies that made it onto both the 2016 and 2015 lists. The companies that were included for a second year running represent the movement among marketers to leverage data-driven solutions to better understand customers and deliver superior cross-device experiences.
According to industry experts like LUMA and Forrester, the way forward for data-driven marketing lies in the ability to harness first-party data to understand customers and deliver targeted, 1:1 communications at a people-based level. In fact, Signal’s own research found that 9 in 10 media buyers say that they and their clients plan to increase people-based media buys, with 1 in 2 planning to do so quickly.
“Marketers are striving to get closer to their customers in the age of hyper-connectivity, when consumers are using up to 7 different devices every day,” said Mike Sands, Signal’s CEO. “Signal is on a mission to solve this urgent challenge, and we attribute our sustained, fast growth to the role we are playing in helping marketers create a single view of the customer across connected devices and platforms to deliver more cohesive experiences.”
The Inc. 5000 recognition builds on Signal’s momentum of quickly being recognized as one of the best and brightest growing technology companies. Earlier this year, the company was recognized on the Crain’s Chicago Business Fast 50 list as the fastest-growing company in Chicago, and announced a $30M Series E round of funding.
Congratulations to all of the amazing companies on Inc. list for their fantastic achievements!
